View of the day-The wind was good for something...the Hyde County turbines were clipping right along.We didn't get as early a start as yesterday, but we managed to get in a lot more miles covered. Al pulled the first shift, driving against the NE wind for the first half of his 400 miles, then the wind switched back out of the SW which really helped the cause. Of course, when you aren't pulling an oversize load, it doesn't make much difference...although the three crews we met moving south probably felt our pain from yesterday.
Marilyn took over driving in the middle of Nebraska, then we stopped for lunch in Bassett, NE before carrying on the last 250 miles to Bismarck, ND where we decided to stay for the night. Tomorrow will be a relatively short day with only 350 miles to go.
