No combining today, too much rain last night. Al took the load from last night into the elevator and that was the extent of his work for the day. Gerry and Chris worked on the grain cart tarp, while Marilyn and Lynn had a shopping day.
While the guys were doing their thing at the campground, the girls took a drive into Chadron for some much needed "retail therapy". After a few hours in WalMart and a stop to pick up an Arby's fix for Al, it was back to Gordon...via Family Dollar in Rushville and Alco in Gordon. Best to spread the harvesting dollars around.
After getting everything put away, we had supper over at the crew trailer and that was the end of a tough day.
At least there was no rain...
