View of the day-These pew decorations were snapped up out of the field before Marilyn had a chance to run them through the combine.
With nothing urgent on our agenda today, we were able to attend the wedding of the "farmer's daughter". We had timed it just right and it was a beautiful day for Riley and Cally's wedding in Winner.
We didn't do too much at the camper today...Marilyn got the camera on the combine rewired so Al would be able to use it in the General to see behind him on the highway and cleaned off the combine a bit. We had to be at the church for the wedding at 3:30pm, so we never got into anything that we would have had to leave half done.
The church was full and it was a lovely ceremony, after which we crossed the street to take in the supper and reception. We stopped to talk to Cal, the father of the bride, as he was overseeing the cooking of the home grown Angus burgers on the fancy grill...the important part.
We got to enjoy the slide show of Cally and Riley through the years, remembering a lot of Cally's. We had seen her almost every summer since the first time we came to Hamill in 1994...how time flies.
After supper we came back to Hamill to rest up for our trek tomorrow...
